Big news: This week, Democrats in the Senate introduced a bill to override the Hobby Lobby decision’s attack on contraception coverage.
Corporations like Hobby Lobby should not be able to discriminate against their female employees and deny them comprehensive health coverage.
The Supreme Court’s decision in the Hobby Lobby case, placing the supposed “religious rights” of the company above the rights of real people, is an attack that must be answered. S. 2578 begins to do that by making clear that corporations cannot refuse women equal access to healthcare insurance, and that they must follow the law requiring that access be made available.
Thank you! And after you take action, please spread the word.
